Structure

BHB decision-making structure consists of 3 main bodies:

  • Community Advisory Board

  • Steering Committee

  • Core Implementation Team

 

While these bodies may differ in their mandates and composition, they all share key characteristics including:

  • Passion to improve birth outcomes in Baltimore City

  • Belief in systemic and individual accountability

  • Deep care for Baltimore City and the health of its residents

  • Conviction that all of Baltimore's babies should be born healthy and ready to thrive in healthy familiies and communities 

  • Commitment to change

Implementation of B’more for Healthy Babies is led by the Baltimore City Health Department with Family League of Baltimore and HealthCare Access Maryland. More than 150 partners support the initiative.
