Community Advisory Board (CAB)
Mandate
The CAB holds B'more for Healthy Babies (BHB) accountable to the people of Baltimore City. They inform BHB's work through their first-hand experience with systems and through their understanding of their communities' wants and needs. They are crucial to BHB's commitment to becoming an anti-racist initiative.

They are vital to BHB's mission because they...
-
Have a say in quality of service delivery
-
Carry information from community to BHB and back
-
Communicate about and advocate for BHB's programs in their communities
-
Are in the position to raise questions
How It Works
The CAB meets on the last Wednesday of every month. The CAB promotes an egalitarian structure and values the experiences and contributions of all members. In order to streamline communications, they have elected a president, vice president, and secretary.
