4th Graders Create Photo Novel to Mark Kick Butts Day

In honor of Kick Butts Day on March 18, fourth grade students from Kipp-Harmony Elementary School created a photo novel, "We Can Beat this Together", about smoking and familial support. Development of this piece was facilitated by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (JHSPH) graduate students working with JHSPH's Student Outreach Resource Center (SOURCE).

The comic, starring the students themselves, shows how one family member's smoking affects the entire household. It models how the family can support the smoker on his journey to quit.
